The FMGE October 2026 result is not out yet. NBEMS has only committed to declaring it by 30 November 2026. Here is the realistic window, how to check, and what to do the moment the PDF goes live.
The FMGE October 2026 result has not been announced yet. NBEMS has only said it will come on or before 30 November 2026. Talk of a result "tomorrow" is going around WhatsApp groups, but there is no official notice confirming it. Based on how quickly NBEMS has moved in recent sessions, the most likely window is roughly 7 to 18 days after the 31 October exam, which puts it somewhere between 7 and 18 November.
If you wrote the exam on 31 October, you have probably refreshed natboard.edu.in more times this week than you can count. We get it. Our mentors at FMGE Boosters hear one question more than any other in the days after an exam: "Sir, result kab aayega?" So here is everything we actually know, what the past few sessions tell us, and what you should do the moment the PDF goes live.

What NBEMS Has Officially Said
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) held the FMGE October 2026 session on 31 October 2026 as a computer-based test at centres across India. This was the extra third session that NBEMS added this year, announced in late August along with a set of reforms to the exam.
The information bulletin for this session gives only one date for the result: declaration by 30 November 2026. That is a deadline, not a release date. NBEMS has not published any notice so far naming 6 November or any other specific day. You can confirm this yourself on the official NBEMS website, where every FMGE notice and result is posted first.
A few other official points are worth knowing before the result lands:
- Format: 300 multiple-choice questions across two parts, with no negative marking.
- Pass mark: 150 out of 300. FMGE is a qualifying exam, so there is no rank and no percentile cutoff.
- Response sheets: under the reforms announced in August 2026, candidates will get a response sheet showing each question ID and its correct answer.
- Next session: the session earlier planned for 9 January 2027 has been moved to January or February 2027, and NBEMS has not fixed the new date yet.
How Fast NBEMS Declared Recent FMGE Results
The best guide to the timing is what NBEMS has actually done in recent sessions. In each of the last five sessions, the result came out between 7 and 18 days after the exam, well before the official deadline. Here are the three most recent ones.
| Session | Exam date | Result declared | Days after exam | Scorecards released |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| June 2026 | 28 June 2026 | 7 July 2026 | 9 | 16 July 2026 |
| December 2025 | 17 January 2026 | 29 January 2026 | 12 | 6 February 2026 |
| June 2025 | 26 July 2025 | 13 August 2025 | 18 | Later |
Two patterns stand out. First, NBEMS has been getting faster: the June 2026 result took just nine days. Second, the scorecard with your actual marks has arrived about a week to ten days after the pass list. Keep that second point in mind, because it explains a lot of the confusion on result day.
So, Is the Result Really Coming Tomorrow?
It could, but it would be the fastest FMGE result in recent memory. Tomorrow, 6 November, is only six days after the exam. The quickest recent turnaround was nine days. Here is how the dates work out if NBEMS follows its recent pattern.
The trend is on your side. Each of the last three results came faster than the one before it (18 days, then 12, then 9), so an early result this time would not be a shock. Still, a trend is not a notice, and NBEMS has given itself until the end of the month.
Assume the result can drop on any working day from now on, and keep your roll number ready. Do not trust screenshots of a "result link" shared on Telegram or WhatsApp. If NBEMS has not posted it on natboard.edu.in, it is not out. We will update this page the moment the official notice is live.
How to Check the FMGE October 2026 Result
When the result is declared, NBEMS posts it as a notice with a PDF. There is no login needed for the pass list itself.
Open the official NBEMS website
Go to natboard.edu.in, the only place the result is published first.
Find the FMGE result notice
Open the FMGE section and look for the notice titled along the lines of "Result of FMGE October 2026".
Open the result PDF
Click the result PDF linked inside the notice. The pass list opens directly, with no login.
Search for your roll number
Press Ctrl and F, or use Find in your phone's PDF viewer, and type your roll number exactly as it appears on your admit card.
Confirm and save
If your roll number appears in the list, you have passed. Download and save a copy of the PDF.
Result PDF, Scorecard and Response Sheet: What Each One Tells You
This is where most students get confused, so let us separate the three documents clearly.
1. The result PDF
This is a pass list. It tells you whether you qualified, nothing more. There are no marks in it.
2. The scorecard
This is where you see your actual score out of 300. In the June 2026 session, scorecards came nine days after the result. NBEMS does not show separate marks for Part I and Part II.
3. The response sheet
Under the August 2026 reforms, candidates should be able to see each question ID with its correct answer. This is genuinely useful if you plan to write the next attempt, because it shows you exactly which subjects cost you marks.
FMGE Passing Marks 2026
You need 150 out of 300 to pass. There is no negative marking, so every question you attempted counted only in your favour. There is no cutoff that moves with the difficulty of the paper and no relative ranking. If you crossed 150, you are through, whatever anyone else scored. For a deeper breakdown of how the result, scorecard and pass certificate differ, see our guide on the FMGE scorecard vs pass certificate.
What to Do Once the Result Is Out
If you passed
Congratulations. Take the evening off. Then, over the next few weeks, work through these in order:
- Save the result PDF and note the date it was declared.
- Download your scorecard when NBEMS releases it, and keep both a digital and a printed copy.
- Collect your pass certificate as per the NBEMS notice. You will need it for registration.
- Check the internship and registration rules that apply to you. Most FMGs need to complete a Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) in India before permanent registration, but the exact requirement depends on your country, course and internship history. Always go by the latest circulars on the National Medical Commission website and your State Medical Council.
- Start your documents file: degree, transcripts, eligibility certificate, passport, FMGE result and scorecard. A single missing document can hold up your registration for weeks.
And if NEET PG is your next goal, the time between FMGE and internship is a good window to plan for it. Starting early, even with a light plan, beats waiting until internship ends.
If you did not pass this time
Give yourself a day. Then look at the facts, not the feeling.
- The next FMGE session is expected in January or February 2027, so you could be writing again within about three months. That is enough time to make a real difference, as long as you use it well.
- Wait for your scorecard and response sheet. Your score tells you how far you are from 150. The response sheet tells you where the marks went.
- Find your three weakest subjects from the response sheet and start there, not with the subjects you already enjoy.
- Take one full 300-question grand test within the first two weeks to get an honest baseline.
- Fix your daily routine before you fix your syllabus. Many repeat candidates already know enough. What usually breaks is consistency.

When will the FMGE October 2026 result be declared?
NBEMS has said the result will be declared by 30 November 2026. Based on the last five sessions, which all came out 7 to 18 days after the exam, the most likely window is about 7 to 18 November 2026. No specific date has been officially announced.
Is the FMGE result coming out tomorrow?
There is no official notice confirming a result on 6 November. That would be six days after the exam, faster than any recent session. Check natboard.edu.in rather than relying on forwarded messages.
Where can I check my FMGE October 2026 result?
Only on the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in. The result is published as a PDF inside an official notice. Search the PDF for your roll number.
Will the FMGE result show my marks?
No. The result PDF only lists who has passed. Your marks appear on the scorecard, which NBEMS has usually released about a week to ten days after the result.
What are the passing marks for FMGE 2026?
You need 150 out of 300. There is no negative marking and no relative cutoff, so the pass mark stays the same regardless of how hard the paper was.
When is the next FMGE exam after October 2026?
The next session is expected in January or February 2027. NBEMS moved it from the earlier date of 9 January 2027 and has not announced the new date yet.
Can I get my FMGE answers rechecked?
NBEMS does not offer rechecking or re-evaluation for FMGE. The new response sheet will, however, show you the correct answer for each question, so you can see exactly where you lost marks.
Waiting is the hardest part of FMGE, harder than some of the questions. Whatever the PDF says, it does not define you as a doctor. If you passed, you have a clear road ahead. If you did not, you are about three months and one good plan away from trying again. Either way, bookmark this page: we will update it with the direct result link as soon as NBEMS releases it.
